Good value but instructions could be better
The hardware quality is solid and the relay clicks reliably. I deducted one star because the pinout diagram on the back was a bit faint. Once figured out, it works great for automating my porch light.

Q: Can this module directly control a 220V AC light bulb?
A: Yes, the onboard relay is rated for 250VAC. However, please ensure the current draw of your bulb does not exceed 10A to maintain safety and longevity.
Q: Does this come with wires included?
A: No, the module is sold as a standalone board without pre-attached wires. You will need to solder your own connection wires or use a terminal block adapter.
Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, but since the Pi GPIO operates at 3.3V logic and this module is optimized for 5V, we recommend using a level shifter or powering the module at 5V while ensuring the signal pin is compatible.
Q: Is the output normally open or normally closed?
A: The default state depends on your wiring, but typically the relay is Normally Open (NO) when no trigger signal is present. You can wire your load to the Common (COM) and NO terminals for standard operation.
Q: How do I adjust the light sensitivity threshold?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the PCB. Use a small screwdriver to rotate it clockwise to increase sensitivity (trigger in brighter light) or counter-clockwise to decrease it (trigger only in darkness).
