Great for school projects
Bought this for a final year engineering project. It survived multiple iterations of testing without losing sensitivity. The flexible form factor allowed us to mount it under curved surfaces easily.

Perfect for quick prototyping
The no-soldering feature is a game changer. I plugged this directly into my Arduino via the included cable and had it working in minutes. The sensitivity is great for detecting simple presses.

Easy integration
Integration with ESP32 was seamless. The long wire meant I didn't have to use extension cables. Only minor issue is the adhesive could be stronger, but some extra tape fixed that.

Good value, long wire is useful
The 12-inch wire makes it easy to route sensors in tight robot chassis spaces. Calibration takes a little tweaking depending on your pull-up resistor, but overall very reliable for the price.

Durable and responsive
I've used standard FSRs before that required soldering tabs which often broke. This pre-wired module is much more robust. Response time is instant with no noticeable lag.

Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The resistance curve is smooth, making it good for analog input reading. Just remember you need an external resistor for the voltage divider circuit.
Q: What is the maximum force this can withstand before breaking?
A: The sensor is rated for up to 10kg of applied force. Exceeding this limit repeatedly may cause permanent deformation or damage to the sensing element.
Q: Is the connector compatible with standard breadboards?
A: The JST PH connector is not directly breadboard friendly. However, the package often includes a breakout adapter, or you can use jumper wires to connect the JST plug to your breadboard rails.
Q: Can I cut the long wire to make it shorter?
A: While physically possible, we do not recommend cutting the pre-attached wires as it may void the warranty and requires stripping/soldering to reconnect. The thin film element itself should never be cut.
Q: Does this sensor work with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, this resistive sensor works with both 3.3V and 5V logic systems. You just need to adjust the value of the series resistor in your voltage divider circuit accordingly.
Q: How do I calibrate the sensor for accurate weight measurement?
A: FSR sensors are best for detecting presence or relative pressure rather than precise weight. For calibration, map the analog read values to known weights in your code using a polynomial fit or lookup table.
