Perfect for my self-balancing robot
The Kalman filter implementation on this JY61 module works flawlessly. It provides stable angle data immediately upon power-up, which saved me hours of coding my own filter. Highly recommended for robotics projects.

Beginner friendly

Great value, easy to interface
Connected easily to my Arduino via UART. The data output is clean and the latency is low. Only giving 4 stars because the documentation could be slightly more detailed regarding register maps, but overall a solid sensor.

Good stability, fast shipping
Using this for a camera gimbal stabilizer. The angle readings are smooth and responsive. It handles vibration better than raw MPU6050 modules I've used before. Good product for the price.

Consistent performance across multiple units

A: While the module is optimized for fused angle output, you can send specific configuration commands to access raw accelerometer and gyroscope data if needed for custom processing.
Q: Does this module work directly with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, it works perfectly with Raspberry Pi. You can connect it via the I2C pins (GPIO 2 and 3) or use the UART serial pins. Make sure to enable the respective interface in raspi-config.
Q: Does it come with mounting holes?
A: Yes, there are four mounting holes located at the corners of the PCB with a standard spacing, making it easy to screw onto brackets or 3D printed parts.
