Solid performance, standard footprint
Integration was smooth using the standard MPU libraries. The noise level is low enough for most hobby applications. Just remember to configure the correct voltage jumper if your MCU is 5V logic.

Reliable batch quality
Bought ten of these for our makerspace workshop. All units tested perfectly out of the box. Consistent performance across the board makes this a go-to choice for educational kits.

Perfect for my custom quadcopter
This sensor module works flawlessly with my flight controller. The data output is stable and the I2C connection was easy to set up with Arduino. Highly recommended for DIY drone projects.

Responsive and accurate
Upgraded from an older 6050 model and noticed slightly better responsiveness in fast maneuvers. For the price, you really can't beat the performance of the MPU6500 chip on this breakout board.

Good value but needs careful soldering
The sensor itself is great and provides accurate readings. However, the pins are a bit close together, so you need a steady hand if you plan to solder headers on. Otherwise, it works as expected.

Great for university projects
Used this for my final year robotics project. The documentation online is plentiful, and the library support for Raspberry Pi and ESP32 is excellent. Very satisfied with the purchase.
Q: Is there a library available for Python?
A: Yes, there are several open-source Python libraries available for Raspberry Pi and MicroPython that support the MPU6500. Check GitHub for the latest repositories.
Q: Does this come with header pins soldered?
A: No, the module is shipped without header pins to allow flexibility for different mounting options. You will need to solder them separately if required.
Q: Is this module compatible with 5V Arduino boards directly?
A: Yes, the module includes a voltage regulator and level shifting, making it safe to use with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers like the Arduino Uno.
Q: What is the default I2C address for this sensor?
A: The default I2C address is typically 0x68. If the AD0 pin is connected to VCC, the address changes to 0x69.
Q: Can I use this for high-speed racing drones?
A: Absolutely. The MPU6500 supports high sampling rates and has a wide gyro range, making it suitable for high-dynamic applications like racing drones.
