Good value but gets warm
Great little driver for the price. It handles my 6V fans without issues. Just note that it does get slightly warm when running both channels at max current, so ensure some airflow if possible.

Compact and reliable
The form factor is excellent for compact builds. I integrated this into a small firefighting robot chassis, and it fits perfectly alongside the sensor array. No signal noise observed.

Solid performance
Does exactly what it says on the tin. The PWM control is responsive. I deducted one star only because the included header pins were a bit loose, but that's a minor issue.

Perfect for small robot projects
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. I used it to control two DC motors for a line-following robot, and the speed control is very smooth. The pinout is clearly labeled, making wiring easy.

Easy to use for beginners
I am new to electronics and this was very forgiving. The documentation online is plentiful, and I had my motor spinning within 10 minutes of unboxing. Highly recommended for students.
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V logic boards like ESP32?
A: Absolutely. The module accepts TTL logic levels, which makes it fully compatible with both 5V boards (like Arduino Uno) and 3.3V boards (like ESP32 or Raspberry Pi).
Q: Does it come with screws for mounting?
A: The package includes the module and a strip of header pins for soldering. Mounting screws are not included, but the board has standard 3mm mounting holes for custom integration.
Q: What happens if the motor stalls?
A: The L9110 chip includes built-in thermal protection. If the motor stalls and causes excessive current/heat, the chip will temporarily shut down to prevent damage until it cools off.
Q: Can this module drive a 12V motor?
A: Yes, the L9110 supports an operating voltage range of 2.5V to 12V, so it can safely drive 12V DC motors provided the current draw does not exceed 800mA continuously.
Q: How do I connect two motors to this single module?
A: The module has two independent channels (A and B). You can connect one motor to output terminals A and another to output terminals B, controlling them separately via the input pins.
