Fast shipping and great product
Arrived quickly and was well packaged. The module is compact and fits perfectly on my breadboard. The light output is surprisingly bright for such a small unit.

Good quality, easy to wire
The pins are clearly labeled which made wiring to my micro:bit very simple. The red LED is slightly brighter than the green and blue, but easily managed in code.

Solid performance
Works as described. The common anode configuration is standard for these modules. Just remember to set your logic pins to LOW to turn the LEDs on.

Great for school robotics
Bought five of these for our robotics club. They are durable and handle the 5V output from our boards without any issues. Highly recommended for education.

Excellent color mixing
I used this for a status indicator project. The ability to mix all three colors creates a wide spectrum. The SMD components look professional and soldered well.

Perfect for beginner projects
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The colors are vibrant and the PWM control allows for smooth fading effects. Great value for the price.
Q: Is this module compatible with 3.3V logic levels like the ESP32?
A: Yes, this module operates comfortably within the 3.3V to 5V range, making it fully compatible with ESP32, Arduino, and micro:bit boards.
Q: Does this come with a library for Arduino?
A: While there isn't a proprietary Keyes library, this standard RGB LED works perfectly with the built-in Arduino functions and popular libraries like 'FastLED' or 'Adafruit NeoPixel' (with minor adaptation).
Q: What is the pinout order for this sensor?
A: Looking at the component side with the text upright, the pins from left to right are usually GND, Blue, Green, and Red. Please verify with the silkscreen on your specific board.
Q: Do I need resistors when connecting this to a microcontroller?
A: The module typically has built-in current-limiting resistors for each color channel, so you can connect it directly to digital PWM pins without external resistors.
Q: Can I use this to create a breathing light effect?
A: Absolutely. By using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) on the R, G, and B pins, you can smoothly fade the colors in and out to create a breathing effect.
