Stable performance in dusty environment
Using these in a somewhat dusty warehouse. The IP65 rating holds up well, and we haven't had any downtime due to sensor failure. Good product.

Reliable but cables could be longer
The sensor works great for our packaging line. Anti-interference features seem to work well near our motors. Only wish the stock cables were a bit longer.

Perfect for long-range counting

Easy to integrate with PLC
Connected directly to our Siemens PLC without issues. The NPN/PNP selectable output is a huge plus. Solid build quality for the price point.
Q: Is the output signal normally open or normally closed?
A: The DS200CM features a configurable output. You can set it to Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) via the wiring configuration or dip switch depending on the specific sub-model revision.
Q: Can this sensor detect transparent objects like glass bottles?
A: While through-beam sensors are generally good with transparent objects, detection depends on the material's refraction index. For standard glass bottles, it usually works well, but we recommend testing with your specific item.
Q: Can I extend the 2-meter cable myself?
A: Yes, you can extend the cables using shielded twisted-pair wire to maintain signal integrity. Please ensure all connections are properly insulated and grounded to prevent noise interference.
Q: Are the emitter and receiver sold as a pair?
