Works well but sensitive to humidity
Generally good sensor, but I noticed the readings fluctuate a bit in very humid conditions. Once I accounted for that in my code, it works great for monitoring office ventilation.

Compact and reliable
Small footprint makes it easy to fit into custom enclosures. I've been running it for two weeks straight without any drift or issues. Highly recommend for DIY air quality monitors.

Solid performance for the price
Does exactly what it says on the tin. The VOC readings jump up when I use cleaning sprays, which gives me confidence in its sensitivity. Documentation could be slightly better, but manageable.

Good sensitivity, needs calibration time
The sensor picks up changes in air quality quickly once warmed up. Just remember to let it run for a few minutes before trusting the initial data. The formaldehyde detection is a nice bonus feature.

Perfect for my smart home project
This module integrated seamlessly with my ESP32 setup. The UART communication is stable, and the CO2 readings seem accurate when compared to my reference meter. Great value for a 3-in-1 sensor.

Excellent data output
The data stream is clean and easy to parse. I appreciate that it handles all three gas types in one package, saving me GPIO pins on my microcontroller. Will buy again.
Q: Is the output data digital or analog?
A: This module outputs digital data via UART (TTL level). It does not provide analog voltage outputs for the gas concentrations.
Q: How often does the sensor need to be calibrated?
A: The sensor features an automatic baseline calibration function. For best results, ensure the device operates in fresh air (outdoor or well-ventilated area) for at least 24 hours once every few months.
Q: Can this sensor detect carbon monoxide (CO)?
A: No, this specific module is designed to detect VOCs, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), and Formaldehyde (HCHO). It does not detect Carbon Monoxide (CO).
Q: What is the pinout configuration for the UART interface?
A: The module uses a standard 4-pin header: VCC (5V), GND, TX (connect to RX of MCU), and RX (connect to TX of MCU). Please refer to the datasheet diagram for pin positioning.
Q: Does this require an external library for Arduino?
A: While you can write your own parser, we provide a sample Arduino library on our GitHub repository that simplifies reading the data from all three sensors simultaneously.
