Solid build quality
The PCB looks professional and the casing protects the components well. It handles vibration better than expected. Just ensure you have a stable power supply to avoid noise in the gyro data.

Great value, minor documentation gaps
The sensor hardware is excellent and provides smooth attitude data. I deducted one star because the wiki could use more examples for custom filter tuning, but the default settings work well for most applications.

Reliable 10-axis performance
I've tested this against much more expensive industrial sensors, and for the price point, the Huaner IMU holds its own. The barometer adds a nice touch for altitude hold in indoor drones.

Essential for university projects
Bought three of these for our autonomous navigation course. They all performed consistently, and the USB interface made debugging very easy without needing extra converters.

Perfect for my ROS2 rover project
This IMU module integrated seamlessly with my ROS2 Humble setup. The data output is stable, and the magnetometer readings are surprisingly accurate after a quick calibration routine. Highly recommended for hobbyist robotics.

Best bang for your buck
Fast shipping and the sensor works exactly as described. The fusion algorithm onboard saves a lot of CPU cycles on my Raspberry Pi. Will definitely order more for our next batch of AGVs.
Q: What is the maximum update rate via UART?
A: Via UART, you can achieve up to 500Hz depending on your baud rate settings. For the full 1000Hz, we recommend using the USB interface.
Q: Can I use this outdoors where magnetic interference might be an issue?
A: The module includes a 3-axis magnetometer with software compensation features. For best results outdoors, we recommend performing a full 3D calibration away from large metal objects before deployment.
Q: Does it support Windows for initial configuration?
A: Absolutely. Our configuration software is cross-platform and supports Windows, macOS, and Linux for easy setup and parameter tuning.
Q: Does this module come with a Python library for ROS2?
A: Yes, we provide a dedicated Python package compatible with ROS2 that includes launch files and example nodes for visualizing data in RViz.
Q: Is the firmware updateable by the user?
A: Yes, the firmware can be updated using our provided GUI tool via USB. This allows you to access new features or bug fixes as they are released.
