A: The module consumes less than 50uA in standby mode, making it ideal for battery-powered applications.
Q: Does this detect animals or just humans?
A: It detects heat signatures from any warm-blooded moving object. However, the lens is optimized for human-sized movement patterns.
Q: What microcontroller is compatible with this module?
A: The HC-SR312 outputs a 3.3V logic signal, making it compatible with Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and most 3.3V or 5V microcontrollers.
Q: How do I adjust the detection delay?
A: There is a small potentiometer on the back of the module. Rotating it clockwise increases the delay time, while counter-clockwise decreases it.
