Excellent for spectral analysis projects
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino setup. The I2C communication is stable, and the library support makes reading the spectrum data very straightforward. Great for identifying material colors.

Good sensitivity, needs calibration
Using this for plant health monitoring. The sensor picks up subtle changes in leaf reflectance well. Just be sure to calibrate it against a known white reference before deploying in the field.

Easy integration with Raspberry Pi

Works well but documentation could be better
The hardware is fine and reads data accurately, but finding specific register maps for the AS7341 mode took some digging through various forums. Once configured, it performs as expected.
Q: How do I calibrate the sensor for accurate color reading?
A: Place a standard white reference tile over the sensor aperture and run the calibration routine in the code to set the baseline. This compensates for ambient light and LED variance.
Q: What is the difference between the AS7262 and AS7341 modes on this board?
A: The AS7262 offers 6 channels focused on visible light, while the AS7341 mode provides 18 channels with higher resolution across visible and near-infrared spectra. You can switch modes via software registers.
Q: Is a library available for MicroPython?
