Fast shipping and great quality
Arrived two days earlier than expected. The build quality feels robust, and the soldering points are clean. Will definitely buy more for future builds.

Great range, easy to use
Works flawlessly up to 3 meters in my testing. The only reason for 4 stars is that the pin headers were not pre-soldered, but that's a minor inconvenience.

Reliable altitude sensing
Using this for low-altitude hold on a custom drone build. The response time is very quick and the readings are stable even with slight motor vibrations.

Perfect for robotics projects
This US-1 module is incredibly accurate compared to the standard HC-SR04. The UART interface makes coding much simpler on my Arduino project. Shipping was fast as advertised.

Excellent value for money
Bought this for a university engineering project. It handled the 3.3V logic level from my ESP32 without any issues. Highly recommended for students.

Good documentation support
The sensor works well. I appreciated that the seller provided a link to sample code which saved me hours of debugging. Solid product overall.
Q: Can multiple sensors be used on the same TX/RX pins?
A: No, each US-1 module requires its own dedicated TX and RX pins on the microcontroller, or you must use a software serial approach with careful timing management.
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V microcontrollers like the ESP8266?
A: Yes, the US-1 module operates within a 2.4V to 5.5V range, making it fully compatible with 3.3V systems without needing a logic level converter.
Q: What is the maximum detection distance in outdoor conditions?
A: While the theoretical max is 400cm, outdoor factors like wind and ambient noise may reduce effective range to approximately 300cm for reliable measurements.
Q: Is the measurement output linear?
A: Yes, the output data corresponds linearly to the distance measured, which simplifies calibration and integration into control algorithms.
Q: Does this come with a library for Arduino IDE?
A: We do not provide a proprietary library, but the module uses standard UART communication. Many open-source libraries for the US-1 are available on GitHub.
