Great for beginners
As someone new to electronics, this was very easy to set up. Plenty of tutorials online work directly with this module. It survived my messy wiring attempts too!

Solid build for the cost
For the price, you can't beat it. It's not industrial grade, but for prototyping and home projects, it is more than sufficient. The button contact is reliable.

Responsive and Accurate
Used this for a custom drone controller. The dual-axis response is linear and accurate. No dead zones detected in the center position. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

Good quality, easy to solder
The pins were well-aligned making soldering very easy. It fits perfectly into standard breadboards. Only minor issue is the cap feels slightly loose, but it doesn't affect performance.

Bought 10 for our class
Purchased a batch for our high school robotics club. All units worked out of the box. Students found them intuitive to program and use for their sumo bots.

Perfect for DIY Robotics
This joystick module works flawlessly with my Arduino robot car project. The analog values are smooth and the button click is crisp. Great value for the price.
Q: What is the resistance value of the potentiometers inside?
A: The internal potentiometers typically have a resistance value of 10k Ohms, which is standard for this type of joystick module.
Q: How do I calibrate the center point if it drifts?
A: Drift is usually handled in software by reading the initial values on startup and setting those as your zero-point offset in your code. Hardware calibration is not required.
Q: Can I use this directly with a 5V Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, the module operates at 5V. However, ensure you connect the analog output pins to an ADC if your specific Pi model lacks built-in analog inputs, as most Pis are digital-only on GPIO.
Q: Is the button momentary or latching?
A: The integrated push-button is momentary, meaning it only registers a signal while being pressed down.
Q: Does this module come with jumper wires included?
A: No, the package includes only the joystick module and the pin header strip. Jumper wires need to be purchased separately.
