Reliable for server room monitoring

Great sensor, cable could be softer
Works flawlessly with my ESP32 project. The only minor downside is that the cable is a bit stiff, making it slightly hard to route in tight spaces, but the durability makes up for it.

Perfect for my hydroponic setup
The waterproof seal is excellent. I've had this submerged in my nutrient tank for three months with zero issues. The readings are consistent with my calibrated lab thermometer.
Q: Can I cut the cable to make it shorter if I don't need the full length?
A: Yes, you can cut the cable to your desired length. However, you must ensure you properly strip, twist, and re-seal the wires with heat shrink tubing and waterproof glue to maintain the IP68 rating.
Q: What is the response time for temperature changes?
A: Under typical conditions in water, the probe reaches 63% of a step change in about 10 to 15 seconds. Full stabilization usually occurs within 30 to 60 seconds depending on the medium.
Q: Does this come with a pull-up resistor built into the module?
A: This specific waterproof probe version typically does not include a built-in pull-up resistor on the cable end. You will need to add a 4.7kΩ resistor between the data and VCC lines on your microcontroller board.
