Perfect for industrial automation projects
The dual-protocol support makes this sensor incredibly versatile. I was able to integrate it into our existing Modbus network without any issues. The angle readings are stable and accurate even in a vibrating environment.

Great accuracy, documentation could be better
The sensor itself works flawlessly with high precision. However, the manual for the 0x68 protocol was a bit sparse. Once I figured out the command structure through testing, it worked perfectly.

Robust build quality

Reliable data output
We have deployed ten of these units across different sites. They all report consistent data via the RS485 bus. No communication drops or erratic readings so far.
Q: Does the package include mounting screws?
A: Yes, the package includes four stainless steel mounting screws and a brief quick-start guide. A full digital manual is available on our website.
Q: Can this sensor operate directly with a 5V microcontroller like Arduino?
A: The MK426T requires an input voltage between 9V and 36V. You will need a logic level converter or an RS485 transceiver module to interface safely with a 5V microcontroller.
Q: What is the default baud rate for the Serial Port 0x68 protocol?
A: The factory default baud rate is 9600 bps, but it can be configured to 19200, 38400, or 115200 bps using the configuration tool.
Q: Is the Modbus address configurable if I have multiple sensors on one bus?
A: Yes, each sensor's Modbus slave address can be individually set from 1 to 247, allowing you to daisy-chain multiple units on the same RS485 line.
Q: How do I calibrate the zero point if the installation surface isn't perfectly level?
A: You can perform a software zero-calibration by sending a specific command via the serial port while the sensor is in your desired 'level' position. This offsets the output accordingly.
