Good value, slow sampling
Great sensor for the price. Just remember it has a 2-second sampling rate, so don't expect instant updates if you are polling too fast. Otherwise, very reliable for indoor monitoring.

Reliable and robust
I've bought five of these for different rooms in my house. They all calibrate quickly and provide stable data over WiFi to my home assistant dashboard. Highly recommended.

Works but needed a pull-up resistor
The sensor itself is fine, but beginners should know you often need an external 10k pull-up resistor between the data and VCC pins for stable communication. My first attempt failed until I added one.

Perfect for my weather station
This sensor works flawlessly with my Arduino project. The readings are consistent and much more accurate than the DHT11 I used previously. Setup was easy with the standard libraries.

Solid component for prototyping
Standard component for IoT prototypes. The module version with the PCB makes wiring much easier compared to the bare sensor. Delivery was fast and packaging was secure.
Q: Which library should I use for Raspberry Pi?
A: For Raspberry Pi, we recommend using the Adafruit_CircuitPython_DHT library or the generic pigpio library for reliable reading via Python scripts.
Q: Does this come with a waterproof casing?
A: No, this module is not waterproof. If you plan to use it outdoors or in high-moisture environments, you will need to provide your own protective housing.
Q: How long is the cable included?
A: This item is sold as a standalone module without an attached cable. You will need to use jumper wires or solder headers to connect it to your microcontroller.
Q: What is the difference between DHT11 and DHT22?
