Good accuracy, clear documentation
The sensor provides consistent readings compared to our calibrated clamp meters. The only minor issue was the length of the terminal block screws, but otherwise, it works great for DC current detection.

Perfect for industrial monitoring
We integrated the 16-channel version into our factory energy management system. The RS485 communication is stable, and the Modbus registers are well documented. Installation was straightforward.

Solid performance for the price
Using the 8-channel model for a solar array monitoring project. It handles the fluctuating DC currents well. The build quality feels robust enough for industrial environments.

Reliable multi-channel solution
Needed a compact way to monitor multiple circuits without bulky transformers. This Hall effect module fits perfectly in our control cabinet. The mutual inductance acquisition is very precise.
Q: What is the maximum baud rate supported for the RS485 communication?
A: The module supports standard Modbus RTU baud rates ranging from 2400 bps up to 115200 bps. The default setting is usually 9600 bps, which can be changed via software configuration.
Q: Does this module support both AC and DC current measurement simultaneously on different channels?
A: Yes, the Hall effect sensors are capable of measuring both AC and DC currents. You can configure each channel independently based on your specific circuit requirements.
Q: What is the physical size of the 16-channel version?
A: The 16-channel unit is designed to fit standard DIN rail enclosures. Its dimensions are approximately 180mm x 90mm x 60mm, but please refer to the specific datasheet for exact mounting hole patterns.
Q: Is external power supply required for the sensors or is it bus-powered?
A: This module requires an external DC power supply (typically 12V-24V) to operate the internal electronics and Hall sensors. It is not bus-powered via the RS485 lines.
Q: Can I daisy-chain multiple units if I need more than 16 channels?
A: Absolutely. Since it uses the RS485 protocol, you can connect multiple modules on the same bus by assigning unique slave IDs to each unit, allowing you to scale up to dozens of channels.
