Perfect for my weather station project
This sensor module works flawlessly with my Arduino setup. The I2C communication is stable, and the pressure readings are very consistent compared to my local weather report. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

Solid performance
Fast response time and low power consumption. I'm running this on a battery-powered ESP32 node, and it lasts weeks without needing a recharge. Just wish the pin headers were pre-soldered.

Excellent value for money
I bought three of these for different IoT projects. They all worked out of the box. The ability to switch between I2C and SPI is a nice touch if you run into address conflicts.

Good accuracy, easy to integrate
Used this for altitude hold on a custom drone. It provides smooth data, though you need to calibrate it properly for your specific location. The documentation could be slightly better, but plenty of examples exist online.

Works well but sensitive to heat
The sensor is accurate, but I noticed the temperature reading spikes if the board is near a voltage regulator. Make sure to mount it away from heat sources for best results.
Q: Is this module compatible with 5V logic levels like Arduino Uno?
A: Yes, the module includes a voltage regulator and level shifting, making it safe to use with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: How do I change the I2C address if I have two sensors?
A: You can change the I2C address by soldering the SDO pin to VCC or GND, which toggles the last bit of the address. Please refer to the datasheet for specific address values.
Q: Can I use this outdoors in the rain?
A: The sensor chip itself is not waterproof. You must enclose the module in a waterproof case with a breathable membrane to protect it from direct moisture while allowing air pressure equalization.
Q: What is the difference between BMP280 and BME280?
A: The BME280 measures pressure, temperature, and humidity, whereas the BMP280 only measures pressure and temperature. This specific module uses the BME280 chip.
Q: Does it come with example code for Raspberry Pi?
A: We do not include physical code sheets, but our product page links to GitHub repositories with Python libraries and examples specifically for Raspberry Pi.
