Great sensor, tricky initial setup

Excellent value for money
Compared to other environmental sensors, this offers the best bang for your buck. The gas detection feature is a nice bonus for indoor air quality monitoring.

High precision readings
The altitude calculation based on pressure is surprisingly accurate. I tested it against a professional barometer and the results were within acceptable margins.
Q: Is the casing waterproof?
A: No, the CJMCU-680 board is not waterproof. It should be used in dry environments or housed in a protective enclosure with breathable membrane for pressure sensing.
Q: Does this board come with headers soldered?
A: No, the board is shipped without headers to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder your own pin headers.
Q: Can this operate at 5V logic levels?
A: The sensor chip operates at 3.3V. While the board has a voltage regulator, the logic lines are not 5V tolerant. Please use a level shifter if connecting to a 5V microcontroller.
Q: What is the accuracy of the temperature reading?
A: The typical temperature accuracy is ±1.0°C within the range of 0°C to 65°C.
Q: Is there a specific library required for the gas sensor function?
A: Yes, we recommend using the Adafruit BME680 library or the Bosch BSEC software library for advanced gas resistance analysis.
