Solid performance
Works well out of the box. The library support for ESP32 is excellent. Just ensure you have a pull-up resistor if your board doesn't include one internally.

Good value, easy to integrate
Great little sensor for the price. I used it for a smart home humidity monitor. The only reason for 4 stars is that the documentation could be slightly more detailed for beginners.
Q: How often should the sensor be calibrated?
A: The AM2301 is factory calibrated. Under normal operating conditions, it maintains accuracy for years without recalibration. Extreme environments may require periodic verification against a reference standard.
Q: Is this module compatible with 5V logic levels?
A: Yes, the AM2301 module operates within a voltage range of 3.3V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: Does this come with a waterproof casing?
A: No, this specific listing is for the bare PCB module. The sensing element itself has some protection, but for outdoor use, we recommend purchasing a separate waterproof enclosure.
