Excellent value for money
Bought five of these for a workshop. All of them worked out of the box. The 9 different gesture types give plenty of options for user interface control.

Perfect for my smart home project
This sensor works flawlessly with my ESP32. The gesture recognition is accurate and the library provided makes integration very easy. Highly recommended for DIY enthusiasts.

Fast response time
Impressed by how quickly it registers hand movements. The I2C communication is stable and it doesn't hog the processor cycles.

Works but documentation could be better
The hardware is solid, but finding clear examples for Python on Raspberry Pi was a bit tricky. Eventually got it working after digging through forums.

Compact and reliable
Small form factor fits perfectly into my custom enclosure. It occasionally misses a 'wave' gesture if moved too slowly, but overall very satisfied.

Good sensitivity, needs calibration
The module detects gestures well, but I had to adjust the sensitivity settings in the code to avoid false positives from ambient light. Once calibrated, it works great.
Q: Does this module come with the necessary library for Arduino?
A: Yes, the product page provides a link to download the compatible Arduino library, and it is also available in the Arduino Library Manager.
Q: Can this sensor work in complete darkness?
A: Absolutely. Since it uses its own infrared LED for illumination, it functions perfectly even in total darkness.
Q: Is this compatible with 5V logic levels?
A: The sensor operates at 3.3V. While some breakout boards have regulators, it is safest to use a level shifter if connecting directly to a 5V microcontroller.
Q: What is the maximum cable length for the I2C connection?
A: For reliable communication, we recommend keeping the I2C cables under 30cm. If you need longer distances, please use an I2C extender or buffer.
Q: Can I detect multiple hands at the same time?
A: No, this sensor is designed to track one primary gesture event at a time. It is not intended for multi-hand tracking or complex skeletal mapping.
