Good value, clear documentation
The sensor readings seem accurate when compared to my professional hygrometer. The only minor issue was that the pin headers were not included, so I had to solder them myself. Otherwise, great product.

Works well after initial confusion
I initially struggled with the wiring, but once I checked the schematic provided by the seller, it worked immediately. The data output is consistent. Just make sure you have a logic level converter if using 5V boards.

Easy to integrate
Plug and play with standard libraries. The BMP280 pressure readings are stable, and the AHT20 responds quickly to changes in humidity. Very satisfied with the build quality.

Perfect for Weather Stations

Reliable for plant monitoring
I bought five of these for my automated greenhouse system. They have been running 24/7 for a month without any drift or failures. The precision is more than enough for agricultural monitoring.
Q: What library do you recommend for Arduino?
A: For the AHT20, the 'AHT20' library by Rob Tillaart works well. For the BMP280, the Adafruit BMP280 library is the industry standard. Both are available in the Arduino Library Manager.
Q: Does this module come with pin headers soldered?
A: No, the module is shipped without pin headers to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder your own headers or wires.
Q: What are the default I2C addresses for these sensors?
A: The AHT20 typically uses address 0x38, and the BMP280 usually uses 0x76 or 0x77 depending on the specific batch. Both can be detected using an I2C scanner sketch.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, it is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi models via the I2C interface. Ensure you enable I2C in the raspi-config settings and connect the VCC to 3.3V.
Q: Can this sensor be used outdoors directly?
A: The PCB itself is not waterproof. For outdoor use, you must place the module inside a ventilated, weatherproof enclosure to protect it from rain and direct sunlight while allowing air flow.
