Clean analog output
The built-in filtering does a great job removing baseline wander. I didn't need to add many external components to get a readable signal on my oscilloscope.

Perfect for Arduino Projects
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The signal quality is surprisingly good for the price point. I was able to visualize a clear heartbeat waveform within minutes of connecting it.

Good but requires 3.3V logic ideally
Works well, but I noticed less noise when running it at 3.3V compared to 5V. Make sure your microcontroller supports the voltage level you choose. Overall a solid purchase.

Great value, needs careful wiring
The sensor itself is excellent. However, beginners should be careful with the electrode connections; loose wires cause a lot of noise. Once secured properly, the data is very stable.

Excellent for prototyping
I used this for a university biomedical project. The lead-off detection feature is very handy to ensure good contact before recording. Highly recommended for students and hobbyists.

Fast shipping and works as described
Arrived quickly and was well packaged. The pinout is clearly labeled on the board. I got it working with an ESP32 immediately using a library found online.
Q: Does this module come with the electrode patches?
A: No, this listing includes only the AD8232 circuit board and header pins. Electrode patches and connecting cables must be purchased separately.
Q: Can I connect this directly to a 5V Arduino Nano?
A: Yes, the module operates between 3.3V and 5V. You can connect VCC to the 5V pin on your Arduino Nano, but ensure your signal reading pin is compatible.
Q: Is there a library available for STM32?
A: While we do not provide a proprietary library, the AD8232 outputs a standard analog signal. Many open-source STM32 libraries exist on GitHub that can read the analog pin and process the data.
Q: What is the sampling rate capability of this sensor?
A: The sampling rate depends on your microcontroller's ADC speed and code efficiency, not the sensor itself. The AD8232 bandwidth is typically configured for human heart rates (0.5Hz to 40Hz).
Q: How many electrodes does this support?
A: The AD8232 is designed for a 3-lead configuration (Right Arm, Left Arm, Right Leg), which is standard for basic heart rate monitoring and single-lead ECG acquisition.
