Great for beginners
As someone new to electronics, I appreciated that this is an active buzzer. It made my first 'Hello World' hardware project much simpler. The sound is clear.

Essential for robotics kits
Bought these for a university robotics competition. They are compact, lightweight, and the tone is distinct without being ear-piercing. Highly recommend for students.

Perfect for Arduino alarms
These buzzers are loud enough for my project alerts and very easy to wire up. Just connect VCC and GND, and it sounds immediately. Great value for a 5-pack.

Compact and effective
Small footprint fits perfectly on my custom PCB prototypes. The current draw is low, which is great for battery-powered ESP32 projects.

Good volume, simple usage
Works exactly as described. Since it's an active buzzer, you don't need to generate a frequency signal, which saves code space. One star off because the pins were slightly bent on arrival, but easy to fix.

Reliable and consistent
I've used all five modules in different projects over the last month. Consistent volume and tone across all of them. No failures so far.
Q: How loud is the alarm in decibels?
A: The sound pressure level is approximately 85dB measured at a distance of 10cm, which is sufficient for indoor alerts and notifications.
Q: Do I need to write code to generate a frequency for this buzzer?
A: No, this is an active buzzer with an internal oscillator. You only need to provide power (HIGH signal) to make it sound; no PWM or frequency generation code is required.
Q: What is the difference between this and a passive buzzer?
A: An active buzzer (this product) has a built-in source and sounds when powered. A passive buzzer requires an external square wave signal to produce sound, allowing you to control the pitch.
Q: Can this module work directly with a 3.3V ESP32?
A: Yes, the operating voltage range is 3.3V to 5V DC, so it is fully compatible with 3.3V logic boards like the ESP32 and ESP8266.
Q: Are the pins pre-soldered?
A: Yes, the male header pins come pre-soldered to the module, ready for immediate insertion into a breadboard or connection via jumper wires.
