Solid upgrade for V6 owners
Very well machined parts. The threads are precise. Only giving 4 stars because copper is softer than hardened steel, so be careful not to overtighten.

Solved my clogging issues
I was experiencing frequent clogs with abrasive filaments. This integrated copper combo handles the heat distribution so well that clogs are now a thing of the past.

Excellent thermal performance
The copper construction heats up much faster than my old brass setup. Print quality on PLA and PETG has improved noticeably with better layer adhesion.

Worth every penny
Simple installation and immediate results. The print surface finish is smoother, and I can push speeds slightly higher without losing quality.

Great fit, minor installation tip
Fits the E3D V6 perfectly. Just make sure to tighten it while hot to avoid leaks later. The copper throat tube is a nice upgrade for heat creep issues.

Reliable and consistent
We installed these in three of our community printers. All three are running consistently with fewer temperature fluctuations during long prints.
Q: How does copper compare to brass for heat creep?
A: Copper has higher thermal conductivity than brass, which helps distribute heat more evenly. However, proper cooling of the heat sink is still essential to prevent heat creep regardless of the material.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: No, this package includes only the integrated copper nozzle and the copper throat tube. Silicone socks are sold separately.
Q: Can I use this with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: While copper offers excellent thermal conductivity, it is softer than hardened steel. For highly abrasive filaments, we recommend using a hardened steel nozzle variant to prevent wear.
Q: Is this compatible with the E3D V6 Lite?
A: Yes, this integrated copper nozzle and throat tube combo is fully compatible with both the standard E3D V6 and the V6 Lite hotends.
Q: What is the recommended torque for installation?
A: We recommend tightening the nozzle to approximately 3-4 Nm while the hotend is heated to printing temperature to ensure a proper seal without stripping threads.
