Great quality, slight fit issue on thick panels

The build quality is excellent and the spring tension is just right. However, ensure you check the panel thickness specifications carefully; they were a bit tight on our 3mm chassis but worked perfectly on 2mm.

Reliable fasteners for industrial use

We use these in our manufacturing equipment enclosures. They stay captive even after hundreds of open/close cycles. The knurled head provides excellent grip even with gloves on.

Perfect for server rack assembly

Q: What is the difference between the PF09 and PF10 models?

A: The primary difference lies in the thread size and overall length. PF09 typically corresponds to M3 or 6-32 threads, while PF10 corresponds to M4 or 8-32 threads, offering higher shear strength for heavier panels.

Q: What is the maximum panel thickness these screws can accommodate?

A: The PF09 and PF10 series are designed for panel thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 2.5mm. Please refer to the specific datasheet for your chosen thread size for exact tolerances.

Q: Do I need a special tool to install the swage-out portion?

A: No special tools are required for the swage-out installation. A standard arbor press or even a heavy-duty bench vise can be used to press the stud into the panel hole securely.

Q: Are these screws available in stainless steel?

A: Currently, the standard stock is carbon steel with zinc plating. We do offer stainless steel variants for the PF10 series as a special order item with a lead time of approximately 2 weeks.

Q: Can these be used in outdoor environments?

A: While the zinc plating offers some corrosion resistance, for harsh outdoor environments, we recommend applying an additional sealant or opting for our stainless steel special order version to prevent rust over time.
