A bit hard initially
The rosin is a bit harder than what I am used to, so it takes a few extra strokes to get enough on the bow. Once applied, the tone is warm and clear though.

Excellent for Morin Khuur
Hard to find accessories specifically good for the Morin Khuur, but this works perfectly. The horsehair bow grabs the strings nicely, producing a rich, traditional sound.

Perfect for my Erhu
I was struggling to find rosin that worked well with my Erhu bow hair. This three-pack is fantastic. It provides just the right amount of grip without making the sound too scratchy. Great value for money.

Great backup supply
Bought this as a backup set for my orchestra gigs. The packaging is secure, and the rosin doesn't crumble easily. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Versatile pack
Having three blocks is great because I keep one in my cello case, one at home, and gave the third to my daughter for her violin. Works equally well on all instruments.

Good standard rosin
Solid product for the price. I use it primarily for my student violin. It applies smoothly and lasts a long time. One block has already lasted me three months of daily practice.
Q: Can I use this on a double bass?
A: While it can work in a pinch, this rosin is optimized for violin, cello, Erhu, and Morin Khuur. We recommend a specific double bass rosin for larger instruments.
Q: How long does one block typically last?
A: With regular daily practice of about an hour, one 25g block usually lasts between 3 to 5 months depending on how heavily you apply it.
Q: Is this rosin suitable for a beginner violinist?
A: Yes, this rosin has a medium grip that is very forgiving for beginners while still providing enough traction for clear sound production.
Q: Does this contain any allergens like nuts?
A: This product is made from natural pine resin. It does not contain nut derivatives, but please check the full ingredient list if you have specific resin allergies.
Q: What is the difference between the three blocks in the pack?
A: There is no difference; the pack contains three identical blocks of the same rosin formula to ensure you always have a spare available.
