Reliable for classroom kits

We bought ten of these for our student robotics kits. They have been durable and consistent. The ability to daisy-chain multiple boards is a huge plus for complex arms.

Exceeded expectations

Great value but needs careful wiring

The module functions well for the price. Just make sure you separate the logic power from the servo power if you are driving high-torque motors to avoid resetting your microcontroller.

Good documentation support

Hardware is solid. I appreciated that there are plenty of open-source libraries available for Arduino and ESP32 that work out of the box with this specific chipset.

Perfect for my hexapod robot

This board works flawlessly with my Raspberry Pi project. The I2C communication is stable, and controlling 12 servos simultaneously was easy to set up using Python libraries.

Smooth motion control

The 12-bit resolution provides very smooth movement for my camera gimbal. No jitter observed even at low speeds. Highly recommended for precision tasks.

Q: Does it come with header pins pre-soldered?

A: No, the board is shipped with unsoldered headers to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder them yourself or use jumper wires.

Q: Can I control stepper motors with this?

A: This board is designed specifically for PWM servo motors. While it can generate signals, it does not provide the dual-H-bridge circuitry required to drive stepper motors directly.

Q: What is the maximum current per channel?

A: Each channel can handle up to 25mA directly from the chip. For higher current servos, you should provide external power to the servo rail while keeping the logic ground common.

Q: Can this board be used with an Arduino Uno?

A: Yes, this module is fully compatible with Arduino Uno via the I2C interface. You will need to connect the SDA and SCL pins accordingly.

Q: Is there a library available for MicroPython?
