Perfect for industrial automation

Reliable and robust

Solid performer

Great value, clear documentation
The board works exactly as described. Setup with our PLC was straightforward thanks to the provided register map. I deducted one star only because the terminal screws are a bit small for thick gauge wire.
Q: What is the maximum wire gauge supported by the relay terminals?
A: The screw terminals accommodate wires from 0.5mm² to 2.5mm² (approximately 20 AWG to 14 AWG). For higher currents, we recommend using ferrules for a secure connection.
Q: Is there software included to configure the baud rate and ID?
A: We provide a free Windows-based configuration utility and a detailed protocol manual. The settings can also be changed directly via Modbus write commands from your PLC or SCADA system.
Q: Can I control individual relays independently or only in groups?
A: You have full independent control over every single channel. You can turn specific relays on or off, or toggle them, using specific register addresses in the Modbus protocol.
Q: Can this module be daisy-chained with other devices on the same RS485 line?
A: Yes, the module supports standard Modbus RTU daisy-chain topology. You can connect up to 256 devices on a single bus by assigning unique slave IDs to each unit.
Q: Does the 10A rating apply to both AC and DC loads?
A: The 10A rating is primarily for resistive AC loads at 250VAC. For DC loads, the maximum switching current is lower due to arc suppression limits; please refer to the datasheet for specific DC voltage/current derating curves.
