Solid build quality
The aluminum feels premium and the matte finish matches my original stand perfectly. Installation took less than two minutes. Only giving 4 stars because the screws were a tiny bit tight to start.

Perfect fit for my setup
I needed a bit more height for my classical guitar rest, and this 15cm extension was exactly what I was looking for. It fits seamlessly with my existing Murata support and feels very sturdy.

Great ergonomic improvement
This extension helped me achieve the perfect playing angle without straining my back. Highly recommended for anyone who finds their current rest too low.

Good value
Does exactly what it says on the tin. The price is reasonable for a replacement part of this quality. Shipping was fast too.

Essential accessory
If you own a Murata rest, this is a must-have. The extra length provides much better stability for larger body guitars. No wobble at all.

Seamless integration
I was worried about compatibility issues, but it screwed right in. The black finish is indistinguishable from the original unit. Very happy with this purchase.
Q: Is this extension rod compatible with older models of the Murata guitar rest?
A: Yes, this 15cm extension rod is designed to be backward compatible with all Murata Classical Guitar Rest models produced in the last decade.
Q: Can I use two of these extensions together for more height?
A: We do not recommend stacking multiple extension rods as it may compromise the structural integrity and stability of the guitar support. For significant height adjustments, please contact us for alternative solutions.
Q: Does the matte finish scratch easily?
A: The finish is treated to be durable and resistant to minor scratches during normal use. However, like any anodized aluminum, deep impacts could potentially mark the surface.
Q: Is this part sold individually or in a pack?
A: This item is sold individually as a single replacement part. Each unit comes with its own set of mounting hardware.
Q: What tools are required to install this extension?
A: No additional tools are needed. The package includes the necessary screws, and they can be tightened by hand or with a standard small Phillips head screwdriver if you prefer extra torque.
