Good product, confusing manual
The hardware itself seems durable and works well, but the instruction manual could be clearer regarding plumbing connections. Had to watch a video to figure it out.

Great value but heavy
The performance is excellent for the price point. The only downside is that the sand filter tank is quite heavy to move alone, so get a friend to help with setup.

Perfect for my backyard pool

A: No, the sand filter tank is sold empty. You will need to purchase approximately 300 lbs of #20 silica sand separately.
Q: Can this pump handle a saltwater pool?
A: Yes, the materials used in the pump and filter are corrosion-resistant and safe for use with saltwater chlorination systems.
Q: Is the vacuum cleaner automatic or manual?
A: This package includes a manual vacuum head and hose that attaches to the skimmer or suction port; it is not an robotic automatic cleaner.
Q: How often do I need to backwash the filter?
A: It depends on usage, but generally, you should backwash when the pressure gauge reads 8-10 psi higher than the clean starting pressure.
Q: What is the length of the power cord?
