Too thin for heavy strumming
If you play aggressively, these might bend too much. They are great for light fingerstyle or gentle strumming, but I prefer something closer to 0.70mm for my rhythm work.

Good for beginners
Very flexible and forgiving for someone just learning. They don't produce as much attack as thicker picks, but that's exactly what I needed for my folk sessions.

Great value standard pick
You can't go wrong with Dunlop standards. They aren't fancy, but they get the job done reliably for both practice and live performance.

Consistent quality
I buy these in bulk. Every pick in the pack feels identical, which is crucial for muscle memory. The matte finish prevents slipping even when my hands get sweaty.

Smooth tone production
The nylon material gives a very warm, smooth tone on electric guitar when playing clean passages. Highly recommend for jazz or soft rock styles.

Classic feel and great durability
These are the picks I grew up using. The 0.46mm thickness is perfect for strumming acoustic chords without getting stuck in the strings. Being made in the USA seems to make a difference in consistency.
Q: How does the 0.46mm compare to the 0.60mm version?
A: The 0.46mm is significantly more flexible and produces a brighter, softer sound ideal for strumming. The 0.60mm offers more rigidity, providing better precision for single-note lines and a slightly warmer tone.
Q: Does this come in a multi-pack?
A: This specific listing is for a single pick. We do offer bulk packs of 12, 50, and 100 under different product listings if you search for 'Dunlop Nylon Standard Bulk'.
Q: Are these picks suitable for bass guitar?
A: While primarily designed for electric and acoustic guitars, some bass players enjoy using thinner nylon picks for a softer attack. However, we generally recommend thicker picks specifically made for bass for better control.
Q: Is the nylon material prone to breaking easily?
A: Nylon is known for its durability and flexibility. While no pick is unbreakable, these are resistant to snapping under normal playing conditions, even with aggressive strumming.
Q: Can I return these if the thickness feels wrong?
A: Yes, provided the item is unused and in its original condition, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund. Please check our returns policy page for detailed instructions.
