Good but instructions were vague
The tank itself works well once you figure out the loading mechanism, but the included paper instructions were very brief. Had to watch a YouTube video to understand the proper locking technique.

Great value, minor fit issue
Works exactly as described for 120 film. The only reason for 4 stars is that the funnel attachment feels slightly loose compared to the original Jobo funnel, but it doesn't leak during normal use.

Perfect replacement for my old tank

A: Yes, the 2520 tank is backward compatible with the entire Jobo 2500 series of reels, including the older 2500 and 2501 models.
Q: Can I use this for E-6 color slide film processing?
A: Yes, the materials are resistant to E-6 chemistry. However, precise temperature control is required for E-6, so ensure you have a suitable water bath or processor.
Q: What is the minimum volume of developer needed for two rolls of 135 film?
A: For two rolls of 135 film, you typically need approximately 600ml to 700ml of solution to fully submerge the reels, depending on your specific agitation style.
Q: Is the center column removable for cleaning?
A: The center column is fixed and not designed to be removed by the user. We recommend flushing the tank thoroughly with water immediately after each use to prevent residue buildup.
Q: Does this tank come with reels included?
A: No, the Pilot 2520 tank is sold as the tank body and lid only. You will need to purchase Jobo 2502 series reels separately.
