Great value for bulk developing
Buying the concentrate is much more economical than ready-made solutions. Just be sure to use distilled water when mixing to prevent any precipitation.

Perfect for 35mm and 120 film
Works flawlessly on both Ilford HP5 and Kodak Tri-X. The grain structure is fine enough for enlargement up to 16x20 inches without noticeable noise.
Q: Can this be used for developing photographic paper?
A: While technically possible, D76 is formulated specifically for negative film. We recommend using a dedicated paper developer like D-72 or Multigrade for optimal results on photographic paper.
Q: Does this contain any preservatives to extend shelf life?
A: Yes, the analytical grade powder includes sodium sulfite as a preservative to maintain potency while dry. Once mixed into a liquid solution, its lifespan depends on usage and storage conditions.
Q: Is the packaging recyclable?
A: Yes, the outer cardboard box is fully recyclable. The inner chemical bottle should be rinsed thoroughly three times before being disposed of or recycled according to your local hazardous waste regulations.
Q: What is the recommended temperature for development?
A: The standard development temperature for D76 is 20°C (68°F). Deviating from this temperature will require adjusting the development time according to standard time-temperature charts.
Q: How much water do I need to add to make the stock solution?
A: To create the stock solution, dissolve the entire 500ml concentrate packet into distilled water to reach a total volume of 1 liter, or follow the specific ratio instructions on the package insert for your desired batch size.
