Perfect for our call center integration

Excellent SDK documentation

Great features, slight learning curve
The soft hook and dialing features are very convenient for managing calls from the desktop. It took a little time to set up the voicemail rules, but once configured, it runs smoothly.

Reliable recording solution
We bought this to replace an old analog recorder. The USB connection makes it much easier to manage files directly on the computer. The soft dialing is a nice touch for speed.

Good hardware, driver installation tricky
The device itself performs well regarding polarity detection and audio quality. However, getting the drivers installed on an older Windows version required some troubleshooting with support.

Seamless software control
Being able to answer and hang up calls directly from my software interface has improved my workflow significantly. No more reaching for the physical handset. Works great on Windows 11.
Q: What happens if the computer goes to sleep?
A: If the computer enters sleep mode, the USB connection may suspend, potentially interrupting call handling. We recommend adjusting your power settings to keep the USB ports active during operation.
Q: Is the SDK free to use for commercial projects?
A: The SDK is provided free of charge with the purchase of the hardware. You are permitted to use it for commercial secondary development, subject to the license agreement included in the package.
Q: Does this support DTMF tone detection?
A: Yes, the device is capable of detecting and transmitting DTMF tones, which allows for soft dialing and interaction with automated phone menus via the software interface.
Q: Can I use this to automatically record calls without pressing any buttons?
A: Yes, when configured with the accompanying software or your own developed script using our SDK, the device can automatically start recording upon detecting polarity reversal or an incoming call signal.
Q: Does this device work with Mac OS?
A: Currently, the Zipei Voice Box supports Windows and Linux operating systems. There is no native driver support for Mac OS at this time.
