Good value but manual could be better
The device works as advertised for recording four lines. However, the section on secondary development in the manual was a bit vague. We had to contact support to get the specific API documentation we needed for our custom integration.

Great hardware, software needs learning

Solid choice for multi-line offices
The pop-up notification for incoming calls is a nice touch that helps our receptionists prioritize. Recording is seamless. I deducted one star only because the initial driver installation on Windows 11 required a specific update patch.

Stable and reliable

Perfect for our small call center
We needed a reliable way to record four separate lines simultaneously without complex hardware. This Zipei box plugged right into our server and started recording immediately. The pop-up screen feature is great for monitoring active calls in real-time.

A: The Zipei 4-Line Recording Box is fully powered via the USB connection to your PC or server, so no external power adapter is needed.
Q: What happens if the hard drive gets full?
A: The software includes a configurable loop recording feature. When the storage limit is reached, it can automatically overwrite the oldest recordings or pause recording based on your settings.
Q: Does this support VoIP lines or only traditional analog phone lines?
A: This specific model is designed for traditional analog telephone lines (PSTN). For pure VoIP recording, we recommend checking our network-based recording solutions.
Q: Can I access the recordings remotely over the network?
A: Yes, the accompanying software allows you to set up shared folders or access the database over the local network, enabling remote playback and management from other authorized computers.
