Good value for the price
Compared to other systems that require monthly subscriptions, this one-time purchase is a steal. The caller ID pop-up is accurate about 95% of the time. It does exactly what it says on the box.

Reliable automatic recording

Essential tool for customer service

Perfect for my home office setup
This device was incredibly easy to set up. I connected it between my wall jack and the phone, plugged the USB into my laptop, and the software installed without any issues. The call pop-up feature is very handy for logging client details immediately.

Works well but Windows 11 needed a driver update
The hardware is solid, but I had to contact support to get the latest driver for Windows 11. Once updated, it works flawlessly. Just be aware you might need to check their website for the newest software version.

Great audio quality, simple interface
The recording quality is crisp and clear on both ends of the conversation. The software interface is a bit dated looking, but it functions perfectly for searching and playing back calls. Highly recommend for small business use.
Q: Can I record calls if my computer is turned off?
A: No, the device requires the connected computer to be powered on and the recording software to be running to save the audio files to your hard drive.
Q: Will this interfere with my internet connection if I use DSL?
A: No, the device connects in parallel with your phone handset and does not interfere with DSL internet signals. However, we recommend using a microfilter if your DSL setup requires one for the phone line.
Q: Is there a limit to how many hours I can record?
A: There is no time limit imposed by the device itself. Recording capacity depends entirely on the available storage space on your computer's hard drive.
Q: Does this device work with VoIP phones or only traditional landlines?
A: The Pioneer XF-USB/1 is designed specifically for analog landline (PSTN) connections. It is not compatible with digital VoIP systems unless used with an analog telephone adapter (ATA).
Q: Does the software allow me to search recordings by phone number?
A: Yes, the included software indexes recordings by date, time, duration, and Caller ID number, allowing for quick searches and retrieval.
