Solid performance
Does exactly what it says on the tin. We use it for recording landline orders. The only minor issue is that the initial firmware update took a while, but since then, it's been smooth sailing.

Reliable hardware, decent software
The unit has been running 24/7 for three months without a glitch. The search function is fast. I gave it 4 stars because the user manual could be more detailed regarding network configuration.

Great value for 16 channels
Upgraded from an older competitor brand to the TQ1916N. The rack-mount design fits perfectly in our server closet. Exporting files to MP3 for compliance audits is a breeze.

Easy integration
Integrated seamlessly with our existing PBX system. The ability to set different retention policies for different channels is a feature we didn't expect but really needed.

Perfect for our small call center
We installed the TQ1908N for our 6-person support team. The setup was straightforward, and the web interface makes it easy to retrieve calls by customer phone number. Audio quality is crisp and clear.
Q: Can I access recordings remotely from outside the office?
A: Yes, provided the device is connected to your network and port forwarding is configured correctly, you can access the web interface and download recordings from any location with internet access.
Q: Is this compatible with VoIP lines or only analog?
A: The TQ1904N/08N/16N models are designed specifically for analog telephone lines. For pure VoIP/SIP recording, please check our TQ-VoIP series products.
Q: How many users can log in to the management software simultaneously?
A: The system supports up to 10 concurrent user sessions for searching and playback. Administrative settings can only be modified by one user at a time to prevent conflicts.
Q: Does this device come with a hard drive included?
A: No, the Tangxin TQ series units are sold without an internal hard drive. You will need to purchase a standard 3.5-inch SATA HDD separately, supporting up to 4TB.
Q: What happens if the power goes out? Will we lose data?
A: The device features automatic recovery. Upon power restoration, it will reboot and resume recording automatically. No data is lost as recordings are written directly to the HDD in real-time.
