Solid hardware, manual could be better
The recording quality is crystal clear on all 8 channels. Setup was straightforward once we figured out the network configuration. The documentation is a bit sparse, but support helped us out quickly.

Easy retrieval of calls

Reliable workhorse
It does exactly what it says on the tin. We have it connected to our main switchboard, and it captures every call clearly. The only reason for 4 stars is the web interface looks a bit dated, but it works well.

A: Absolutely. You can connect the device to your local network via Ethernet and access the recordings remotely through the provided web interface or client software.
Q: What happens if there is a power outage? Will we lose recent recordings?
A: The device automatically saves recordings in real-time. In the event of a sudden power loss, the file currently being written might be incomplete, but previous recordings remain safe on the drive.
Q: Can this device record incoming and outgoing calls simultaneously on all 8 channels?
A: Yes, the SOC1908S is designed to record both incoming and outgoing calls concurrently across all 8 channels without any loss of audio quality.
Q: Is this compatible with VoIP lines or only traditional analog landlines?
A: This model is primarily designed for traditional analog landline connections (PSTN). For pure VoIP environments, we recommend checking our SIP-specific recording solutions.
