Perfect for daily writing
I use this black ink in my office fountain pen every day. It flows incredibly smoothly and hasn't clogged my nib once. Great value for the price.

Good color saturation
The blue-black shade is very professional looking on white paper. It dries reasonably fast, though not instant. Would recommend for business correspondence.

Great for students
Bought the pure blue for my daughter's schoolwork. She loves how smooth it writes, and the bottle lasts a long time. No messes so far!

Red ink is vibrant
I specifically bought the red ink for proofreading edits. The color is vibrant and stands out clearly without being too bright. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Excellent for calligraphy practice
As a beginner in calligraphy, I needed an ink that wasn't too expensive but still performed well. This Jinhao ink provides consistent flow which helps with stroke control.

Decent but not waterproof
The writing experience is smooth, but be aware this is dye-based, so it smears if it gets wet. Perfect for indoor office use, just don't use it for archival documents.
Q: Does this ink come with a dropper?
A: Yes, each glass bottle includes a built-in plastic dropper attached to the cap for easy and mess-free filling of your fountain pen converter or eyedropper pen.
Q: Can I mix the red and blue to make purple?
A: While physically possible, we do not recommend mixing different colors of ink as it can alter the chemical balance, potentially leading to sedimentation or clogging in your pen.
Q: Is the black ink truly jet black or more of a gray?
A: The black ink is a deep, dark black that appears very solid on most papers. It is not gray, though shading may occur depending on the nib size and paper quality.
Q: Is this ink safe to use in vintage fountain pens?
A: Yes, because it is non-carbon and dye-based, it is generally safe for vintage pens as it is less likely to cause clogs compared to pigment inks. However, we always recommend cleaning your pen before switching ink brands.
Q: How long does one 50ml bottle typically last?
A: Usage varies by writer, but for an average daily user filling a standard converter twice a week, one bottle can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months.
