Perfect for my third grader
These cartridges fit our school fountain pens perfectly. The blue-black ink is exactly what the teacher requested, and the flow is very consistent without blotting.

Good but color varies slightly
The ink works well, but I noticed the shade of blue-black varies slightly between batches. Still usable for homework, just not perfect for calligraphy.

Solid everyday ink
Does exactly what it says. Good for daily school use. The packaging could be a bit more robust to prevent crushing during shipping, but the product inside was fine.

Great value bulk pack
You get a lot of cartridges for the price. The pure blue is vibrant. One cartridge had a slightly loose cap, but the rest were sealed tight.

Reliable Hero quality
Hero has always been a trusted brand in our house. These 3.4mm cores are standard and easy for kids to swap out themselves.

Smooth writing experience
My son loves how smoothly these write. No skipping or hard starts. The large capacity means we don't have to change them every day.
Q: Can I mix the blue-black and pure blue in the same pen?
A: We do not recommend mixing different ink colors in the same cartridge or pen as it may affect the color integrity and flow performance.
Q: Are these compatible with Parker Quink style pens?
A: No, these are specifically designed for 3.4mm caliber straight-liquid fountain pens commonly used in schools, not international standard converters.
Q: What is the expiration date on these cartridges?
A: Our ink cartridges have a shelf life of 3 years from the manufacturing date printed on the box. They perform best when stored in a cool, dry place.
Q: How many pages can one cartridge typically write?
A: Depending on the pen nib size and writing pressure, one large capacity cartridge can typically cover 15 to 20 pages of standard notebook paper.
Q: Is the ink washable if it gets on clothes?
A: While the ink is non-toxic and safe for students, it is permanent once dry. We recommend washing any stains immediately with cold water.
