Excellent compatibility

Great value for large capacity
You get a lot of ink for the price. It writes very well in my daily driver fountain pen. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the bottle design makes it slightly tricky to fill without a syringe, but the ink quality itself is excellent.

Rich black color
The shade of black is very satisfying. It's not too gray, yet it doesn't look like a harsh marker line. Perfect for journaling and taking notes at work. Highly recommend for students.

Perfect for my vintage Hero pen
This ink works flawlessly with my Hero 201. The flow is incredibly smooth, and I haven't experienced any clogging issues since switching to this non-carbon formula. The black is deep and professional looking.

No more clogged nibs!
I used to struggle with carbon inks drying out in my pens during storage. This non-carbon version stays fluid much longer. My Hero 234 has been sitting for two weeks and still writes immediately upon uncapping.
Q: Is this ink safe to use in a Lamy Safari?
A: Yes, this dye-based non-carbon ink is generally safe for most modern fountain pens, including the Lamy Safari, provided the pen is cleaned regularly. However, always test with a less expensive pen first if you are unsure.
Q: How long does the ink take to dry on Rhodia paper?
A: On coated papers like Rhodia, drying time is typically around 10-20 seconds depending on the nib size and how wet your pen writes. It is not an instant-dry ink, so allow a moment before closing notebooks.
Q: Does this ink come with a dropper or filler?
A: No, the package includes only the bottle of ink. You will need to use the converter or piston filler that came with your specific fountain pen model to draw the ink from the bottle.
