Great for beginners
The ink is very forgiving for beginners. It doesn't feather too much on cheap paper, which is great for school supplies. The red is a nice bright shade.

Bought the black and red bottles for my daughter's art projects. The dye-based formula cleans up easily if spilled. It dries reasonably fast on standard notebook paper.
