Perfect for note-taking
The ink dries reasonably fast on standard notebook paper with minimal bleed-through. The literary themed names make collecting them fun. Highly recommend for students.

Excellent value for money
You get a generous amount of ink for the price in these sample bottles. The glass quality is good and the dropper makes filling converters very easy and mess-free.

Powder-free formula works as advertised
I have had clogging issues with other brands, but this powder-free ink runs perfectly clean in my vintage dip pen. Easy to clean out when switching colors too.

Nice color but low water resistance
The color is vibrant and beautiful, but be careful if you use highlighters. It smudges easily when wet since it is not water-resistant. Great for dry media though.

Great samples for trying new shades
The 5ml size is perfect for testing without committing to a large bottle. The Zhang Ailing color is a lovely muted purple. Only giving 4 stars because the cap can be a bit tight on some bottles.

Beautiful color for daily writing
I purchased the Lu Xun sample to test before buying a full bottle. The color is a deep, sophisticated grey-black that writes very smoothly in my Penbbs 456. No shading issues and it flows consistently.
Q: Do these 5ml bottles come with a cleaning brush?
A: No, the 5ml sample bottles come sealed with a dropper insert. We recommend using a bulb syringe or flushing with water for cleaning.
Q: Is this ink safe to use in a Parker Quinkflow converter?
A: Yes, this ink is compatible with most standard international converters, including Parker-style ones, as long as the opening is wide enough for the liquid flow.
Q: Is this ink suitable for use on watercolor paper?
A: Yes, it works well on watercolor paper. However, since it is not waterproof, adding water over it will cause the ink to spread and create wash effects.
Q: How long does the ink last once the bottle is opened?
A: If stored in a cool, dark place with the cap tightly sealed, the ink should remain stable for several years without significant evaporation or degradation.
