Smooth extension mechanism
No jamming or slipping. The knurled grip provides excellent control even when wearing gloves. Highly recommended for anyone doing detailed technical drawing or loose sketching.

Essential tool for charcoal artists
I love that it works on both ends. I can extend short nubs of charcoal pencils that I would usually throw away. The metal construction feels premium compared to plastic alternatives.

Sturdy but slightly heavy
The build quality is excellent, feeling very durable in the hand. My only minor complaint is that it adds a bit of weight to lighter pencils, but you get used to it quickly. Great value for art students.

Saves money on pencils
Being able to use every last bit of my expensive charcoal sticks makes this purchase worth it immediately. The metal sleeve protects the pencil lead from breaking inside my bag too.

A: This item is sold as a standalone tool without a pouch, but its compact collapsed size makes it easy to store in any pencil case.
Q: Can I adjust the length to any size between the min and max?
A: Absolutely. The telescopic feature allows you to slide and lock the extender at any continuous length within its 12cm to 24cm range.
Q: What is the maximum pencil diameter this can hold?
A: It is designed for standard artist pencils up to approximately 9mm in diameter. Oversized jumbo pencils may not fit securely.
Q: Does this fit standard graphite pencils as well as charcoal?
A: Yes, the double-ended design accommodates most standard diameter graphite and charcoal pencils commonly used by artists.
Q: Is the metal prone to rust if left in a humid studio?
A: The aluminum alloy is treated to be corrosion-resistant, but we recommend storing it in a dry case to maintain its finish over time.
