Decent but wear out fast on steel

These work great on wood and jade, but when I tried using them on harder steel alloys, they wore down quite quickly. Stick to softer materials for best longevity.

A: Currently, the sandpaper rings are pre-mounted on the metal cores and are not sold as separate replacement rolls. You would need to purchase a new set of heads.

A: No, these sandpaper rings are designed for dry use only. Using them with water or coolant may degrade the adhesive bonding the sandpaper to the core.

Q: What is the maximum RPM recommended for these heads?

A: For optimal safety and performance, we recommend operating these heads at speeds between 10,000 and 25,000 RPM. Exceeding this may cause premature wear.

Q: Is there a specific order I should follow for the grits?

A: Yes, for the best polish, start with the lowest grit (e.g., 80) to remove material, then progressively move to higher grits (120, 240, up to 800) to refine the surface finish.
