Simple, reliable, and easy to integrate with my existing setup.
Q: Does this filament require an enclosed printer?
A: No, PETG generally does not require an enclosed printer, though keeping drafts away can help with print quality. It works great on open-frame printers like the Bambu Lab A1.
Q: What is the shelf life if kept sealed?
A: If stored in its original sealed packaging with the desiccant in a cool, dry environment, the filament can last up to 2 years without degradation.
Q: Can I print this directly on a glass bed?
A: Yes, PETG adheres well to glass beds. We recommend using a thin layer of glue stick or hairspray as a release agent to prevent the print from fusing too strongly to the glass.
Q: Does the multi-color pack come on one spool or multiple?
A: The multi-color option consists of separate 1kg spools for each color included in the pack, ensuring you have full rolls of each shade.
Q: Is this safe for food contact applications?
A: While PETG is often used for food containers, 3D printed parts have layer lines where bacteria can grow. We do not recommend using this filament for direct food contact unless properly post-processed and sealed.
