Perfect replacement for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened alloy nozzle after wearing out two brass ones printing carbon fiber PLA. The print quality is excellent, and the durability is exactly what I needed. Installation on my E2 was straightforward.

Great quality but pricey
The build quality is top-notch and fits my Pro2 Plus perfectly. It handles high-temperature materials without any issues. My only complaint is the price compared to third-party options, but you get what you pay for in reliability.

Essential upgrade for engineering materials
If you plan on printing anything with glass or carbon fibers, this is a must-have. The hardened alloy holds up incredibly well. No clogging issues so far after 200 hours of printing.

Restored my printer to full function
My original hotend failed after a year of heavy use. This genuine replacement part brought my printer back to life immediately. Temperature stability is spot on, and layer adhesion is perfect.

Good product, shipping took long
The nozzle itself works great and is definitely genuine Raise3D hardware. However, shipping took longer than expected. Once installed, performance has been solid for standard PLA and PETG prints.

Reliable and durable
I run a small print farm and these hardened nozzles save us money in the long run by reducing downtime. They are easy to swap out and maintain consistent extrusion rates even with abrasive composites.
Q: Can I use this for printing pure metal filaments?
A: While this nozzle is hardened, we recommend checking the specific metal filament manufacturer's guidelines. It is suitable for metal-infused PLA/ABS, but 100% metal filaments may require specialized setups beyond standard FDM printers.
Q: Does this come with a new heater cartridge and thermistor?
A: Yes, this is a complete hotend assembly which includes the hardened nozzle, heater cartridge, thermistor, and thermal insulator block ready for installation.
Q: What is the difference between this and the standard brass nozzle?
A: The primary difference is material durability. This hardened alloy nozzle is designed to resist wear from abrasive filaments like carbon fiber, glass fiber, and metal-filled plastics, whereas brass nozzles wear down quickly with these materials.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the Raise3D E2CF model?
A: Yes, this hardened alloy nozzle assembly is fully compatible with the Raise3D E2 and E2CF models, as well as the Pro2 and Pro2 Plus series.
Q: How often should I replace this hardened nozzle?
A: Hardened nozzles last significantly longer than brass ones. Under normal usage with abrasive filaments, they can last 6 to 12 months or more. Replace it if you notice inconsistent extrusion or visible wear at the tip.
