Excellent thermal stability

Upgraded from a standard brass block and the difference is night and day. The PT100 sensor fits perfectly, and I can maintain steady temps even at high flow rates. Highly recommended for engineering materials.

Solid build quality

Great aluminum block that feels very durable. Installation was straightforward on my E3D clone. Only giving 4 stars because the silicone sock fit was a bit tight initially, but it stretched out fine.

Best value for Volcano setups

I bought three of these for our office printers. They all performed consistently well. The threading is precise, and there were no leaks during initial testing with ABS and Nylon.

Good upgrade path

Works as expected for a Volcano style hotend. The copper plating adds a nice touch for corrosion resistance. Make sure you tune your PID settings after installation to get the best results.

Perfect for high-temp filaments

Reliable and robust

No issues so far after 50 hours of printing. The block holds heat very well, which reduces stringing on my prints. The included silicone sock is a nice bonus to prevent oozing.

A: The aluminum block itself can withstand very high temperatures, but the safe continuous operating limit depends on your specific heater cartridge and thermal break. Generally, users safely operate up to 400°C with appropriate cooling.

Q: Does this come with the thermistor or just the block?

A: This package includes the heating block, mounting screws, and a silicone sock. The PT100 sensor and heater cartridge are sold separately unless specified in a bundle option.
