Perfect for decorative items
I printed some galaxy-themed models and the glow-in-the-dark feature adds a magical touch. It flows smoothly and doesn't clog the nozzle.

High toughness confirmed
I dropped a printed bracket made from this filament and it didn't crack. Standard PLA would have shattered. Highly recommend for functional parts that need a bit of flair.

Great quality, slight stringing
The toughness of this PLA is impressive; my prints are very durable. I had to tweak retraction settings slightly to reduce stringing, but once dialed in, results were perfect.

Good value for money
Solid filament for the price. The glow isn't as bright as some specialized powders, but for standard PLA, it exceeds expectations. Very easy to print with.

RFID feature is a game changer
Love how the printer automatically recognizes the material settings. No more guessing temperatures. The print quality is consistent and the finish is glossy.

Amazing glow effect!
This filament prints beautifully on my X1 Carbon. The transparency is crisp, and after charging it under a lamp, the glow lasts for hours. The RFID tag made setup instant.
Q: What is the recommended drying method if the filament absorbs moisture?
A: If the filament becomes brittle or produces bubbles, we recommend drying it at 45°C for 4-6 hours in a filament dryer or convection oven. Store it in a sealed bag with desiccant when not in use.
Q: Can I print large continuous models without running out?
A: Each spool contains 1kg of filament. Depending on your infill and model size, this usually provides several hours of continuous printing. For very large projects, we suggest monitoring the remaining length via the printer software.
Q: How long does the glow last after exposure to light?
A: Under normal indoor lighting conditions, the filament typically glows visibly for 30 to 60 minutes after being charged. Direct sunlight or strong UV light will maximize the brightness and duration.
Q: Is the spool compatible with non-Bambu Lab printers?
A: Yes, the spool dimensions are standard. While the RFID tag will only function with Bambu Lab printers equipped with an RFID reader, the filament itself works perfectly on any 1.75mm FDM 3D printer when manual settings are applied.
Q: Does this filament require a hardened steel nozzle?
A: While glow-in-the-dark filaments often contain abrasive particles, Bambu Lab's formulation is optimized to be printable with standard stainless steel nozzles for general use. However, for extended printing sessions, a hardened steel nozzle is recommended to prolong nozzle life.
